Our employees are our most valuable resource and we have built our business from providing first class training to all of our drivers and workshop staff. K Transport Services are an approved JAUPT driver CPC training centre and we are currently running the K Transport driver excellence course for all our employees.
We also provide training for outside companies who wish to train their employees to a high standard.
All new employees receive a two day job induction which consists of 1 day class room based and 1 day on the job training which will include a safe driving assessment. Our drivers receive on the job audits in order to monitor and maintain our standards of operation.
Annual driving assessments are carried out by our driver trainer and new drivers or those with an accident record are targeted for additional training.
Our Driver Trainer Paul delivers K Transports DCPC “Driver Awareness” Course
This is a 7 hour JAUPT Approved Course.
DVSA Approved DCPC Training
KTS are an Approved DVSA Training Provider.
Our current registered course includes the following subjects:
- Safe & Efficient Driving
- Load Security
- Tacho`s & Driver Hours
Our Driver Trainer provides ongoing and refresher training for all of our drivers which also includes training to fulfil our FORS & CLOCS commitments.
ALLMI Training
K Transport Services are now an ALLMI Training provider, offering the following services to the general public and other companies.
ALLMI 2 day Lorry Loader Operator Course and ALLMI 1 day Refresher Course
Covering the following attachments: Hook, Hoist, Clamshell, Brick Grab, Pallet Fork and Auger.
ALLMI 2 day Slinger / Signaller Training and 1 day Refresher Course
A Previous Experience form must be completed and forwarded to our Trainer prior to the day when Refresher Training is to commence.
Training is usually carried out on a Friday and Saturday, but we can be flexible for group bookings. A training room, training vehicle and test lifts are some of our on-site facilities.

JAUPT DCPC training log charges will be passed on to the trainee.
