We were recently asked by one of our valued clients Link Global Logistics to lift a Cessna fuselage to a customers hanger in Melton Mowbray. The Cessna had travelled from Guernsey via Southampton to its destination.
Lifting it using a 5 tonne x 9 metre straps with a 5 tonne spreader beam, it had to be manoeuvred between trees and over a fence to position it correctly in readiness for its move into the hanger. The lift was complex and not helped by the direct sunlight and heat but was completed successfully and is another example of the wide variety of transportation jobs we provide for our customers.
