We were pleased to take delivery of a new DAF CF 26ton Sliderflex Rigid truck today on a 2019 plate. The vehicle will join our growing fleet with the added advantage of being fitted with a 4G 5 camera CCTV system and Telematics Device from Verilocation which gives us live access, instant tachograph information and accurate driver style information from the Canbus.
We are always looking to improve our service level to customers and internal processes so we are trialling the Telematics and 4G Camera solution on this vehicle and hope it will add real benefit before potentially adding it to our existing fleet.
The Telematics device will help us monitor driving style, offer accurate estimated time of deliveries and reduce fuel usage. The system features:
